The dress code is black tie. Tuxedos for men and floor-length gowns for women are encouraged. Please note that the ceremony venue is a short walk from the reception venue, and portions of the evening will take place on grass. We recommend choosing footwear accordingly.
Where should I stay?
Please see our travel recommendations page here for more information.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking at the venue. We will have buses departing the Dewberry at 3:30pm for the wedding and returning to the Dewberry upon conclusion of the wedding at 10:00pm. Rideshare services are also readily available in Charleston.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving 15 - 20 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to get settled.
What will the weather be like?
Please note that the wedding reception will be outdoors. March weather in Charleston is variable, but is typically about 60-70 degrees during the day and 50-60 degrees at night. In the case of rain, the venue will be tented, and in the case of cold, the venue will have ample space heaters. The house will also be open to guests.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are only able to invite guests formally listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
